Mr. Panday's career spreads over 35 years in financial services sector in Canada, including most recently the as founding-President & CEO of ICICI Bank Canada, and executive roles with HSBC Bank Canada, Bank of Montreal and PriceWaterhouse Coopers.

He is the sole shareholder and President & CEO of PanVest Capital Corperation. In addition, he currently serves as an independent director on the boards of Avalon Rare Metals Inc. (TSX-V and NYSE Amex: AVL), the Canadian National Stock Exchange (CNSX) Toronto and Bank of India (Canada), which is currently undergoing regulatory approvals to commence in Canada.

He is an Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel, 32 Service Battalion, Canadian Forces. In his other philanthropic endeavours, he serves on the boards of: the Canadian Forces College Foundation, the Exempt Market Dealers Association (EMDA), The Corporation of Roy Thompson Hall and Massey Hall and as an Honorary Trustee at the Royal Ontario Museum, and a past-president of the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce. He holds a B.A. (Eco. and Pol. Sci.), the CGA, ICD.D and PDO designations. Mr. Panday frequently shares his knowledge and experience at the Canadian Forces College, as well as Canada's premier academic institutions, governments and think-tanks, particularly on cross-border trade and investment matters with special focus on with India. In June 2009, he received the Corporate Executive of the Year Award from Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce.

In 2008, India Abroad named him in its PowerList of 35 most influential Indo-Canadians.
